Warrawong on the Darling

We arrived at the delightful camp of Warrawong on the Darling. A lovely situation with tents, caravans and cabins.

On the drive we saw red sand, dryness and emus. The green of the camp was startling after so much dry.

As we drove north the colour of the sand changed and the vegetation become scarce..

We arrived before sunset which gave us time for a walk and explore the billabongs and birds in the area.

Talking about birds – we also met RISSOLE

The day ended with a substantial meal and desert outside, listening to the night sounds.

Next – Warrawong to White Cliffs.
