While we were at the ‘Gardens in the Bay’ and got tickets to the enormous cooled glass house and did the loop walk around. Amazing construction and stunningly artificial. Endless people.
An interesting place to take a walk, but if you are not paying the extra to take the path up, the visit seems a bit disjointed. It is all very showy and constructed. There are two options, a walk up the gentle ramp, around and out (one way) or pay to be able to walk up behind the waterfall. We chose the cheaper option – many more things to explore.
Hard to analyse our thoughts. One one side it is all toooo much, too artificial, too crowed and too amasing ! If you are at the Gardens, then be sure to visit just to have seen it. It is an experience, but don’t expect to see special plants, I think it is all about the waterfall and impressive engineering.
