Opinion of Singapore.
Really a good idea to take a stopover and have a good sleep in a real bed. It is an interesting place, very artificial in places, highly managed, but also very pleasant. It is impressive to visit a city when ones knows that 60 years ago there was very little here. On the downside, it is very hot and humid, and thus a bit exhausting, shopping is the only cool thing to do.

- Rather artificial and constructed
- Plenty to do
- Most entertainment is ‘canned’
- Great for a stopover between flights
- English widely spoken
- Easy to get around
