Singapore Botanic Gardens

Near the outskirt of the city (sort of, the whole island is almost the city) is a botanic garden.  It is free and a popular place for people to relax, run and picnic.  The vegetation is very lush and there are interlocking winding paths to walk along.  The whole garden is very formal and mostly a recreational area although the plants are labelled

We were pleased to see this little family of Malaysian Jungle Fowl who I believe are the ancestor of our domestic chooks
