It is just too far to travel all the way from Sydney to Zurich in one go. Twenty two hours of flying. So we really welcome the opportunity to have a stopover in Singapore on the way there and back. We were lucky to get a promotional offer of Singapore Stopover Holiday for $1 each.
This trip we stayed at Hotel Mi, visited the Botanic Gardens again, took a loop on the hop-on-bus, short trip on a bum-boat, rode the giant wheel and walked through the city at dusk.
On the return visit, not so much was achieved as we had two back to back night flights, but visited the gardens again, rode the hop-on-bus and did a spot of shopping.
