Orange is famous for its Roman Theatre, it is considered to be the best preserved. We first saw the back wall from outside and were stunned by the size and height. A lot of maintenance work was going on so some access inside was limited but we could still appreciate the size and sound. It is still regularly used for performances. I am sure the audience brings cushions.
We walked up the hill behind the theatre and looked down to see the whole structure.
