We arrived in Pontressina in the late afternoon. The hostel is just across the station carpark. A lovely room in the eaves with a view. We took a local walk and enjoyed the flowers.
Pontressina is a small town in the Swiss Alps near the Italian border. In winter a very popular skiing area while in summer it is popular with the hikers. So clean and fresh. We took a late afternoon walk through the outskirts of Pontressina. Nicely formed paths with fantastic views of the town, the railway line, trees and mountains. Our walk took us through meadows with all the mixed flowers and over the railway line that we had ridden upon earlier.
