You can not travel to Lord Howe with our having your accommodation booked for the time you will be there. The cheapest places had already closed for the season so we booked, through Oxley Travel, the best value we could get. As a group of five we were a little limited as so many of the places cater for couples.
The rooms were sparkling clean, comfortable and had everything we needed and good quality. There was a washing machine and a barbeque for our use too.
And best of all was the location. Walking distance to the pier and the centre of town.
The gardens were well maintained with lush tropical vegetation and some bright flowers. There was no sense of crowding as most people spent all of the day out The owners were pleasant and helpful and then left us to enjoy our stay how we wished. Oceanview apartments were nearly empty when we stayed there, but I am sure that when full will still be a great place.

- A covered area to dry clothes and wetsuits – if rains during the day when you are out exploring……
- Would have liked a quick clean say on day 4
- Needed to refresh beach towels (room towels were refreshed if you left them out)
