The Dolomites are a great and popular walking area, there are paths suited to all standards. We chose a gentle walk towards the next village, Toblach, with the idea that we could catch the train back (wonderful idea)
The weather not looking too good but we still set off for a walk along route 11. Initially along next to the river, then uphill to the next little village.
We decided not to go on to Toblach as the rain was definitely becoming heavier, even put on raincoat and hood. Interesting that the river changed colour from clear to light brown to grey quite rapidly.
Walking in this area is super, there is something for everyone.
