We needed to be in Villabassa in Italy on Saturday afternoon. As it takes four days to get to Europe that meant leaving on Tuesday, which is just not a good plan, much better to leave on Friday afternoon. But this year, that was Easter Friday, so to get best value we needed to leave on Thursday afternoon. But, because of Easter the flights were rather expensive on Easter Friday, we had to leave a day earlier. The end of this ramble is that we left on Wednesday after work and arrive in Europe a week before we had to be in Italy.
Next – what to do for a week ? Solution – a few days in the Swiss Alps. We went to Switzerland in 2016 and really enjoyed it, so welcomed a few more days. We thought it would be spring and had visions of walking in the high meadows and looking at new plants and excited cows. But this was not to be !
