Easy 30mins drive to Catania airport, then E30 taxi to town. Spent 4 hours wandering town. Not as bad as the first visit, now that used to Sicily. Took a trip on the little tractor round town, E10, OK, but a bit smelly and close to the action.
After the rest of Italy, Catania was a bit grubby and uninteresting except for the fish/veg and snail market. Back to the station to wait for the train, regular announcements but all in Italian.
