Etosha Pan National Park

A little bit of information about Etosha Pan.  The pan is a mostly dry lake 120km long, 4 800km2 and is mostly within the Etosha Pan National Park.  It was formed as the result of tectonic movement

Etosha National National Park covers 22 270km2.  There are three main camps with a network of roads around the perimeter of the pan where animals congregate to drink the water in the isolated ponds and enjoy the more lush grass.

On out first morning we had coffee and rusks and set off for a early drive towards Twee Palms and Fischers pan.

We returned to camp for a big breakfast, then spent the rest of the day relaxing in camp

We took and afternoon drive towards Stinkfontein north of the camp.
