Colliour in France

Hop on the tram and train and off south to the MED and Collioure, a random choise and proved to be rather interesting.

We stayed in a small apartment in the old town within walking distance of nearly everything.  Unfortunately everyone else was also there so rather crowded with holiday makers.  The town has a very rich history, being close to the Spanish border and a port.

We enjoyed ourselves, but on occasion felt a little overwhelmed by the number of people.  We did all the important things like swim (paddle) walk the coast, take a tractor up into the hills, saw the lighthouse, the church and all the streets.  A very clean place.

Chatted to a resident who came originally from Michigan, USA, and very interesting to hear how badly the population had been treated wrt covid and getting back to her home in France.
