At Arles we hopped on a bus and set off the the Camargue region. This is the Rhone delta and an area famous for black bulls (and cows) white horses and pink flamingoes. We did see all. First stop was a rather unexciting – to us, seaside town, then to a ‘bull farm’
At the farm we went on a tour on a tractor pulled trailer. It was rather fun. We were then invited to have a drink at the farmhouse – white wine mixed with black currant juice – mmmmm
We leant about horses, cattle and culture.
And on the way back amused by a Roman aqueduct just lurking around next to a roundabout.
