We crossed the border into Zambia, then drove to the town Livingston near the Victoria Fall.
While the aventurous people in our group took scenic flights and boats above the waterfall, Aby and Dee took a peaceful horse ride in the bush.
In the afternoon we set off to explore the falls
In theory they are much more spectacular from the Zimbabwe side, but we were not going to pay the exorbitant visa cost (not even in local currency) to cross over. Bear in mind this is the end of the dry season, and we are looking at the lowest flows.
Next we walked along easy path to view Beite bridge, the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia and a favourite bungee jumping spot !
And that is the total of our trip to Zambia
Back – to Botswana
Back – to Africa
Back – home
