We took an early taxi to Jarong Bird Park, unfortunately entry is no longer covered by the ‘Singapore Holiday Pass’. Enjoyed out walk through the park, quite extensive with wonderful managed gardens. Not a lot of photography

Did a loop on the little train and had a very mediocre breakfast at the ‘Lori café’
Then the rain came down, significant, heavy rain. We made raincoats out of dustbin bags and continued our walk.
The park is great for a walk, but do go early, it is not scientific, it is just about ‘pretty’
The pluses and minuses of the bird park

- It is not scientific nor educational, but interesting
- Gets crowed later in the day
- Mostly caged birds
- Too expensive $31 in 2018
- No longer included in the Singapore Holiday Package
