When we last visited Silverton it was a lot less commercialised – [see here] Now there are museums and art galleries.

The goods and the bads of Silverton
- The drive there is good
- It has lost a bit of the feel of a small place in the middle of no-where
- Too many commercial ventures
- One art gallery is free to enter.
- If you have never been there before, it is great
- Good place to visit for movie fans
- Interesting atmosphere
- But not as exciting as one is lead to believe !
