The Blue Mountains are on the list of to see things in Australia – so we went. First stop the popular view point of the Three Sisters. A great view and gives such a good outlook of the massive extent of the eucalyptus forests. This was before the terrible fires.
Next a walk along the clifftops followed by a picnic lunch.

The Blue Mountains area is massive, but few people venture anywhere other than the area close to the main road through. In reality it is not very variable as all the rock is the same and the vegetation is sililar. I feel that the area is overrated, or rather over-promoted. But, we are lucky to have seen mountains in many other areas so compare from an advantaged position.
