One of the favourite activities of passengers is to watch the loading and unloading of freight at each stop. Some days the ship stopped 6 times, so there was plenty to see. The variety was amassing. As soon as the ship docked, no time wasting, the gang planks where lowered, one for freight, one for people (some times they did not bother with the people one) and goods started moving. Some stops were 15 minutes long, so efficiency was taken seriously.
