Fascinating to visit a country almost in an anarchy situations, but oh so stressful. I would like to go back and see how it has progressed, but from reading a bit it seems like a place where you fly or drive to a destination, like a beach resort, and that is where you stay. No wandering up and down the country.

- Depressing to see how bad things are for people in a country that is agriculturally wealthy
- The roads, the whole drive is stressful. Never know how bad a pothole will be.
- Strong language barrier, the ‘official’ language is Portuguese (in a country which threw out the Portuguese) little English is spoken.
- Accommodation not easy to find
- Often unsure if the accommodation is ‘safe’
- Very little information to read beforehand.
