While touring Botswana in 2008 we made a short side trip to Zambia and the Victoria Falls
There is a very small border, one of the world’s smallest, between Botaswana and Zambia across the Zambezi River. We planed to cross the Zambezi River and visit Zambia for a few days and see the Victoria Fall. Slight problem with the vehicle, so we took an African taxi to the border, took the ferry, then were picked up by an air-conditioned mini bus on the other side.
After 2 weeks in Africa our Europeans travel mates had settled down well to the life-style and happily sat on the kerb !
We were picked up from the border post by our original vehicle and set off South-East towards Naxi Pan
