Stressful but short walk to our B&B. Up a few flights of stairs to a small apartment on approximately the third floor. A large room with an interesting floor, a bathroom and a shared kitchen. Basic, comfy and functional.
When we decided to visit Venice we looked at the map, saw were all the main tourist areas were, and chose a place on the opposite side of the city. Fish Eye B&B was a great choice for us, convenient, quiet, great hosts, simple but comfy rooms and we enjoyed being in the more residential part of the city.
Once through the street level front door up a couple of flights of steps, some rather uneven !

- Basic and comfy, not grand, a real B & B
- Great location far from crowds
- Felt slightly authentic
- Fantastic hosts, very interesting and gave great background to Venice and the problems facing the residents of the city
- Everything we needed, we liked have access to a basic kitchen
