Dee had a ticket to travel across France and catch a ferry to Plymouth. A message from French railways saying they were going on strike – France is painful enough with language and attitude without a strike, so Dee was not going to battle cross country France in this situation. So went to Ryanair in Barcelona and found the cheapest flight to UK and ended up in the East Midlands. Picked up a hire car and drove to Sherringham on the east coast, Norfolk area to the YHA. An interesting liitle beachside town. Fine walking and a beach made of rounded rocks. Most of the houses are made of beach rocks as well
