Firstly the rocks – These mountains were formed from an uplifted delta. The rock is a conglomerate. There are occasional layers of siltstone. If you get excited looking at the conglomerate boulders they are very mixed in size and composition.
This church has a famous ‘ Black Madonna’ statue. We did not see it, but did enjoy a quick look at the church, very dark with gold
