Gibraltar has a very long history of military matters – going back into legend – Hercules etc.
We visited O’Hara’s battery and explored some abandoned tunnels. The rock is riddled with tunnels. When I looked carefully at some photos taken of the rock face I realised there are many tunnel windows.
