As part of our hop-on bus ticket we joined a walking tour of the old area. Every one except us was Spanish but our guide was so bilingual it was amazing.
The distance was not long but we went down the narrowest street, into courtyards and patios, and learnt a lot. Especially how to tell the difference between a Seville orange and other oranges.
We explored Cordoba old town, it was lovely just to walk around and explore. Some areas were full of people but very easy to get to a quieter spot away from the tapas bars etc. No harbour so no cruise ships
