Lyon is situated on the confluence of the large river Rhone and the slightly less large Saome. We took an hour long cruise on the Saome River. The Saome joins the bigger Rhone at Lyon. We went up stream a little then after a U-turn down stream to near the confluence.
In this area there are some buildings with very modern architecture – I was not impressed at the green and orange things !
