A couple of Swiss trains then a surprisingly grotty French train to Lyon where we caught a taxi to our hostel
Lyon started as a Roman city, it was visited by Asterix and Obilex many years ago. It is a big city, but we spent our time in the older areas. Few tourists, I don’t know if it was because it is too early in the season or if this is not a big place for foreigners.
A pleasant place to walk around.
We were lucky to stumble through a real French market with real locals shopping there.
