Hotel Rose in Villabassa

We stayed here for four nights

Hotel Rose was a short walk from the station and ideally situated to walk to the bus stop, town centre and countryside walks.

The back of the hotel next to the river
Our room with a small balcony

Hotel Rose was very pleasant and traditional.  Many inter-leading and added on areas and passageways.  Our room was lovely with pale wood furniture and a balcony overlooking the yard and river.  We decided to eat at the hotel on the first night as many of the other places were closed on a Sunday. The meal was so good we ate there every night and were excited every time by the wonderful food.

  • Entrée of homemade ravioli
  • Entrée pasta dish
  • Soup – bacon dumpling in a clear broth
  • Desert hot berries with cream
Potatoe dumplings in a clear broth, so good had on two evenings !

After a comfy night, we then enjoyed a super breakfast.
