Early in the morning we boarded our flat bottomed riover-boat and set off along the Chobe River.
The next morning we set off for an animal watching trip on the Chobe River.
The river is wide and deep and flows through arid countryside. One side is Botswana and the other is Namibia
We were about to do a U-turn in the river when on the Botswana side a large herd of elephants ran over the hill – what brialiant timing !
Wow what an experience – highly recommended, but dont go on a sunset/boose cruise
